The City of Berryville is excited to host our first-ever Christmas Decorating Contest for both residential homes and local businesses! Let’s bring the holiday spirit to every corner of Berryville and celebrate the creativity of our community.![]()

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteer judges who helped make this year’s Berryville Christmas Parade such a success. We were honored to have three dedicated community members, each representing a local organization that plays an important role in Berryville.![]()
Delinda Blevins represented the Kiwanis Club,
Allen Rogers represented the Rotary Club, and
Meagan Morton represented the Carroll County Farmers Market.![]()
Each judge brought their experience, community spirit, and enthusiasm, and they were supported by their wonderful helpers who assisted throughout the evening. Their teamwork ensured that every parade entry, from floats to walking groups, was evaluated with fairness, attention, and holiday cheer.![]()
We are incredibly grateful for their time and service. Berryville thrives because of volunteers like them who continuously pour back into our community.![]()

City of Berryville Celebrates a Record-Breaking Christmas on the Square, Tree Lighting, and Parade![]()
Berryville, AR — The City of Berryville is proud to announce the overwhelming success of this year’s Christmas on the Square, annual Tree Lighting, and Christmas Parade held on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Attendance, participation, and community engagement reached new heights, making this one of the most festive and memorable celebrations to date.![]()
Christmas on the Square kicked off the afternoon with a variety of family-friendly activities and vendors with the Carroll County Farmers Market Association Inc. Over 200 cups of hot cocoa were served, with all donations benefiting the market’s nonprofit initiative. Children and families were delighted with a special reading of The Night Before Christmas by Santa himself, and the Grinch also made a spirited surprise appearance. Children were also able to write letters to Santa and decorate ornaments to hang on the community tree.![]()
As evening arrived, the award-winning Berryville Parks Maintenance Team officially lit the community Christmas tree. The ceremony drew a large crowd who gathered to enjoy the moment and share in the holiday spirit.![]()
This year’s Christmas Parade was the longest and most well-attended for Berryville, lasting more than 45 minutes and featuring the highest number of participants the city has ever seen. Berryville Parks & Recreation Director Jamie Hussey shared, “This was the best year yet for our parade. It’s been incredible watching this event grow, and we’re so proud of our community for making it what it is.”![]()
Community Engagement Director Julia Borkowski added, “I truly feel this was one of the most festive years we’ve ever had. Our community continues to show up with so much heart, and we are grateful for the support that keeps these traditions strong.”![]()
